Momma Bear

I am beyond excited right now because my Momma will be making her way up to visit me today for the weekend! We're gonna Christmas shop till we drop, and I must say that is something we are a little too good at doing.
I'm going to make "homemade" (what I consider homemade anyways) pepperoni rolls this afternoon out of crescent rolls, pepperoni, and cheese! I can't wait to see how they turn out, I'll let you know!
This post is all sort of random.
I read something today that I found funny, what F I N A L S stands for (the edited version) Fudge I Never Actually Learned this Stuff. That tends to ring true when your cramming for exams during Dead Week and drinking a million cups of coffee, no exaggeration, to try and retain information from the beginning of the semester and thinking Wait, what? I don't remember this! Ugh. But a great way to get back at your "wonderful" professors when the end of the semester rolls around, is to write not so nice comments about them on their course evaluations. It always makes me feel better even if it doesn't really do anything.

Bells

Well today I went to Walmart & as soon as I got out of my car, I heard the bells. I searched for any type of change then remembered that I gave every penny from my change holder to a man at the gas station that needed it. Or he said he needed it. So the fiance and I did what we thought was right & gave him all of our change. Somehow we always tend to run into people who ask us for money (which is ironic since I'm a poor college student) and we think that God would want us to give them what we can, and what they do with it after is on them.
So back to my original thought, I heard the bells at Walmart and had no change or cash to give the man, who rings the bell, and stands out in the cold all day to raise money for The Salvation Army. This makes my new goal...To not leave the house without some extra cash or change to give the wonderful people of The Salvation Army.

Dead Week & Movies

Well as I'm sitting here watching two movies at once (a thanks goes out to Netflix for that ability) I should be studying for my finals and finishing up projects for these last two weeks of the semester. Where has all my motivation gone? I only need it back for these two weeks and after that it can stay away for a month.  But cold, rainy weather and a new body pillow from Target, a thanks to fiance, are definitely keeping my motivation dormant.
I'm sort of obsessed with reading and writing blog posts now, but I guess it beats the Facebook world and I find it to use a few more brain cells, which is nice.
As soon as this movie is over I am absolutely going to start on some homework. Right? yes, right. okay.
